CHRISTMAS LIGHT PARADE

The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce they have set the date for their 9th Annual Christmas Light Parade.  The parade will be held Saturday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. The parade will begin at the First Baptist Church on West Roundbunch Road ending at Bridge City Intermediate School.  Trophies will be awarded as follows:  one best overall award and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for float, vehicle, ambulatory, and dance entries.  The parade does not have a theme.  Participants are urged to use lots of lights as this is a night time parade and to keep decorations in the spirit of the holiday season.

THEME:  The Chamber encourages you to use your creativity to incorporate a festive theme into your entry.  Please note this is a night parade, so the MORE LIGHTS the better!!!
ENTRY FEE:  One toy per person participating on each float/entry.  These toys will be given to The Bridge City – Orangefield Ministerial Alliance for their Christmas Toy Give Away.  Please keep in mind, the toys we collect will make a child’s Christmas more memorable.
ENTRY DEADLINE:  Monday, November 27, 2017
ENTRY LINE UP:  The First Baptist Church parking lot 200 W. Roundbunch Rd., Bridge City, TX 77611
ARRIVAL TIME:  20+ Feet long 4:00 p.m.    15-20 Feet long 4:30 p.m.     Under 15 feet long 5:00 p.m.
Please arrive ON TIME, if late the entry will be moved to the end of the parade.
INCLEMENT WEATHER:  If the parade is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 6 pm.
A copy of the driver’s license and vehicle(s) proof of insurance are required with application.
