The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce was pleased to hold a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony celebrating the completed renovations to the United Way of Orange County’s offices after Hurricane Harvey. President and CEO Maureen McAllister cut the ceremonial ribbon in celebration.
The United Way of Orange County raises funds through its yearly campaign program and fundraisers to help support several partner agencies in Southeast Texas that focus on improving people’s health, education of children and youth to help them achieve their potential and promote financial stability and independence of local residents.
Along with helping residents, the United Way of Orange County is collecting monetary donations for the United Way of Coastal Carolina to aid in their recovery after Hurricane Florence.
A pictorial book, “Harvey’s Impact on Orange County” has been produced by the United Way of Orange County which documents the flooding and recovery and are now on sale at the United Way office located at 1506 W. Park Ave., Orange, TX 77630.
