The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Jaycie Harrison, Assistant Director of Encore Dance Arts, has been
named April Employee of the Month. Jaycie was presented her award, sponsored by Sabine River Ford, by Ambassador/Board Member Eric Andrus, owner of COS Printing, at the April Networking Coffee hosted by Sweet Bee Boutique and Desserts. Jaycie Harrison was born and raised in Orange, Texas. Jaycie grew up dancing at Rose Thayer Academy of Dance where she competed with Texas Dance Expressions. While competing she attended many regional and national competitions and won numerous awards.
She now is a graduate from Lamar University where she is majored in General Studies with a concentration in Dance. Jaycie has taught choreography for local High School drill teams and does private dance lessons around the area. She is now the Assistant Director at Encore Dance Arts. Encore is a new studio in Bridge City, TX. Jaycie is thrilled to be teaching young students in this area and looks forward to the years to come.
Jaycie was a part of the Lamar University Dance Team for two years, along with serving as the Assistant Director for one year. She still works with the team throughout the year and helps choreograph numbers for the annual show. During her time on team she danced at many events, football games, basketball games and at the annual show: Cabaret des Reves.
