Bellard, Technology department, said “I had the pleasure of teaching Ty Hawkins his freshman year. I found him to be a very respectful, motivated, and intelligent young man. He was a pleasure to have in class. He has accomplished quite a bit in his high school career. However, I am sure that is nothing to compare to what he will achieve as he furthers his education.”
Mrs. Jenkins, Science Department, said, “It has been my pleasure to know and teach Ty. Ty demonstrates tremendous effort and brings a positive energy to class. He has the combination of a optimistic attitude and the belief that he can always improve. I am confident that he will continue to display the same commitment and diligence in everything he does.”
Mr. Cascio, English department, said, “It is a great pleasure to have Ty Hawkins in my class. This is the third year that he has been in my Spanish classes, and the only down side to this is that he is graduating soon! Ty is the consummate student–always prepared, always generous in his contributions, and always a delight.”
After graduation, Ty plans to attend Lamar University to obtain a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting. After college he plans to become a Certified Public Accountant hoping to one day open his own business.
